The Santana Camacho family founded Casa Brígida in 1973, one of the first restaurants to open its doors in Playa Blanca, in the south of the island of Lanzarote
They dedicated themselves with great dedication and perseverance to the restaurant business, merging the traditional cuisine of the island with new trends Specialized in ‘Marine Cuisine,’ featuring fish, rice dishes, and, of course, excellent grilled meats.
Casa Brígida Restaurant was a prominent family restaurant specializing in traditional Canarian cuisine, particularly in Marine and market cuisine, from 1973 to 2022. It served as a gathering place for locals and was a reference in traditional Lanzarotean gastronomy
Our origins

Specializing in maritime cuisine with a focus on fish, rice dishes, and, of course, excellent grilled meats, Cocina del Puerto continues to follow a market-driven menu, adapting to the availability of fresh produce. This approach, known as market cuisine, remains the hallmark of Cocina del Puerto today, with an innovative and fusion touch

After steering Casa Brígida alongside Cocina del Puerto until 2022, when the family restaurant closed, Pedro Santana became the local Chef of Cocina del Puerto from 2018 onward
Second generation of chefs
True to the product and tradition, Pedro Santana skillfully renewed, interpreted, and brought creativity to popular recipes from 2007 to 2022, marking the opening of a new chapter with Cocina del Puerto.
His brother, Tato Santana, manages the restaurant Costa Azul located on Avda Marítima, 34, en El Golfo, in the south of the island
